We all deserve a little spa time every now and then, we all also know weekly trips to the local spa isn’t cheap either. So here’s a way you can treat yourself and not break the bank.
It turns out the natural lactic acid found in milk is a form of alpha-hydroxy-acid (an ingredient which can be found in some of the most expensive exfoliating products). This type of acid gently dissolves proteins to exfoliate dead skin cells, which reveal fresh, younger looking skin underneath.
This homemade milk bath is not only easy to make, but how it’s stored in the DIY, (a cute mason jar) would also make a sweet homemade gift! Enjoy!
